How did I get here?
Updated: Nov 4, 2021
Hey guys! My name is Bailley, I am currently a junior at the Lawrenceville School and am interested in aeronautical engineering and deep space exploration.
You may be wondering how I got into space exploration.... Well it is pretty embarrassing. When I was in fifth grade, attending my public middle school, I found an article about a meteor that was supposed to strike and wipe out the population on September 24th, 2015. Proven by NASA, it was a hoax!
But alas, I was young, and went into complete panic mode. There was no way, me, an 11 year old, would let this asteroid come and hit this Earth, even though it was proven to be a hoax. I read NASA's archives, watched videos, read other articles, reviewed pictures, trajectories, everything that you would not expect an 11 year old to read.
I drove my parents INSANE. They tried to comfort my anxiety by showing me articles against this asteroid and showing me how it was a hoax. Somehow, I refused to believe NASA's extensive research (silly me).
I waited until that day passed to be sure that there was no meteor coming to destroy Earth. Even after this instance, I kept reading about space and immersing myself into the Interstellar world.
This is why I created Easy Interstellar. This platform is to explain simply space news and opinions that I have about space and space exploration. What is happening with space travel? What rockets are being built? When will we get to Mars? This is the place to find those answers!
I will try to post as often as I possibly can so that I keep you all up to date about the latest space news. I can not wait to explore this topic further with you all!
Stay Curious :)
